Questions artists ask

Is it really my voice?

Yes. Hyperball never generates a voice. Each sung shot is made against your own isolated vocal from the track you upload, so the mouth follows your words and your timing.

Whose face can I use?

Only your own. Your photo is checked for one clear face, and during the alpha our team verifies it's you with a short liveness check through our video provider before your face is ever used. It is never used for anyone else. Revoke any time from your likeness page: nothing new is shot, and your finished videos stay in your account.

How long does it take?

Reading the song takes a minute or two. A section takes roughly 30 to 60 minutes to shoot, one job at a time during the alpha. Then it waits for you to review every sung take by ear before the cut.

What do I need?

One front-facing photo of you, well lit and alone in frame, and your song as mp3, wav or m4a. Lyrics are recommended, not required: with them every sung line is quoted exactly as you wrote it; without them we transcribe your isolated vocal and time every line to it.

What does a video cost?

You shoot your song section by section, and each section has one all-in price, quoted before anything is shot. It includes up to 4 takes of every sung line until you lock one by ear, and one redo of each story shot. If a sung line won't lock in 4 takes, its share comes back to you. Your first sung clip is free.

Why is it opening in batches?

Our team verifies every artist's likeness before their face is used, and we do that one batch at a time. Leave your email and we will tell you when your batch opens.
